There are six categories open to applications. You can enter as many categories as you like. Please note that some categories will be awarded to companies and others to individuals within those companies. Each award category is supported by a key regional or national partner, who is committed to our goal of driving innovation in the region.
Young Innovative Company Award
This award aims to reward and celebrate a company under two years old, who is developing innovative products, processes or services, and demonstrating a high degree entrepreneurship, with potential for further growth and expansion in turnover, profits and employees.
Innovation Catalyst Award
The award aims to reward and celebrate the dynamic individuals or organisations that are catalysts for innovation, and have been instrumental in contributing to the innovation culture in Yorkshire and the Humber.
Knowledge Exploitation Award
This award aims to reward and celebrate the successful (commercial or pre-commercial) exploitation of basic research from within Yorkshire and Humber's universities and research organisations, bringing the application of knowledge to market for the benefit of the applicant, end users and the economy.
Product, Process, Service Award
The award aims to reward and celebrate an innovative new product, process or service developed in Yorkshire and Humber which represents a significant advancement for their industry or sector.
Open Innovation Award
The award aims to reward a progressive organisation who compliments their internal innovation activities with open innovation capability.
International Innovation Award
This award aims to reward and celebrate businesses using technological innovation to access new markets internationally, and/or driving their innovation pipeline through exposure to international opportunities and collaborations.
